Mail-In Sharpening

Many customers prefer the convenience and fast turnaround time of my mail-in sharpening service. Once received, your scissors are sharpened, repaired if necessary, and promptly* on their way back to you. If your scissors require repairs, I will contact you upon inspection and before any work is started.

How to ship your scissors:

  1. Lightly wrap a rubber band around the tips of the scissors or a twist tie around the handle to keep the blades closed.
  2. Wrap the scissors in a paper towel, tissue paper, bubble wrap or plastic wrap for extra protection.
  3. Place the scissors in a padded envelope or a sturdy box. Include your contact info: Name, phone, email.
  4. Include cash, check, or indication of later payment through credit card, Venmo, or PayPal.

*Upon reception, your scissors will be serviced and return shipping started within 48 hours, excluding USPS holidays.

The total time frame on sharpening and shipping is 3-10 business days.
